Honda HRC Castrol MotoGP Team
In the premier class of the FIM Road Racing World Championship, the factory team Honda HRC Castrol have a strong rider lineup with Joan Mir and Luca Marini. Satellite team Honda LCR have retained Johann Zarco, winner of his home French Grand Prix in 2025, alongside reigning Moto2 World Champion Diogo Moreira, who joins as a new entrant.
Honda HRC World Superbike Championship Team
In the FIM Superbike World Championship, Honda HRC have introduced a refreshed rider lineup and welcome six-time champion Jonathan Rea as a development rider. From 2015 to 2020 Rea literally dominated in WorldSBK, securing the championship title in six consecutive seasons, a feat that is unlikely to be repeated any time soon.
The Northern Irish rider spent his formative years on Honda machinery. In the early days of his professional career, Rea spent three productive years with Honda teams in the British Superbike championship, rounding out the 2007 season as runner-up. The following year he moved to WorldSSP with Ten Kate Honda and again closed the year in second place overall. This result saw him move up to WorldSBK for the 2009 season, again with Honda, his collaboration with the Japanese manufacturer continuing until the end of 2014. During that time, he amassed 42 podiums, 15 of which were race wins. These achievements put him third on the all-time list of most successful Honda WorldSBK riders.Together, the team will focus on further enhancing the competitiveness of the CBR1000RR-R FIREBLADE SP.
Honda HRC Petronas Motocross MXGP Team
In the premier MXGP class of the FIM Motocross World Championship, Honda has expanded from a two-rider to a three-rider structure while continuing development of the CRF450R. The company aims to reclaim the MXGP championship title for the first time in four years.
Repsol Honda HRC Team
Toni Bou kick started the 2026 season by claiming his nineteenth victory at the Palau Sant Jordi, whilst Gabriel Marcelli finished third in his home race. Bou extends his record to a combined 40 consecutive titles across the TrialGP and X-Trial championships There was a magical night for Repsol Honda HRC at the X-Trial Barcelona in the seventh round of the indoor World Championship.
Honda Racing UK – British Superbike Championship
With a highly impressive debut season in the World championship now under his belt, Vickers will return to BSB action as a factory rider for the first time in his career with the Louth-based Honda Racing squad. Joining him is the reigning Endurance World Champion Jason O’Halloran. Jason returns to the domestic series in which he has achieved considerable success already, and indeed to a team with whom he is very familiar, having celebrated victories for Honda Racing in multiple championships in the early years of his career. Already a 28 times BSB race winner, a championship title is the target for 2026.
Aston Martin Aramco Honda Team
Honda enters the FIA Formula One World Championship as a factory power unit supplier to the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team. Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) will oversee development, manufacturing, and trackside operations of the Formula One power unit.
For the 2026 season, Formula One have introduced major new regulations covering both chassis and power unit (PU). Electrical power output from the motor and battery will increase to approximately three times current levels, while engines will be required to run on advanced sustainable fuels. These changes position F1 as a next-generation motorsport focused on electrification and decarbonisation, alongside the continued enforcement of the cost cap system to ensure development efficiency.
NTT IndyCar Series
In North America, Honda continues to supply power units to five teams competing in the IndyCar Series through Honda Racing Corporation USA (HRC US). Additionally, Honda and the NTT INDYCAR SERIES also announced that Honda will continue as an engine supplier for the 2027 racing season and beyond in a multi-year deal. Honda and its North American racing arm, Honda Racing Corporation USA (HRC US), bring more than 30 years of American open wheel success into the new era of IndyCar racing.
